a place I will be seeing soon! : )
one thing I LOVE about mahabaleshwar is how foggy and ethereal it always looks. it makes me feel like I’m IN a dream, so different from the city life of delhi, bombay, and chennai where other members of my disjointed, fragmented family live. I’m so glad I get to see a different side to India this time around. Hopefully I’ll learn some proper Marathi or Hindi. Hopefully I can slow down for a while in the presence of my grandparents and great-grandmother.
Took this today… it’s golden here in Boston :)
oh my. that evening brisk breeze— i can imagine it now. so refreshing. like an invigorating splash of cold water, but friendlier.
it’s sad how much i yearn for this, how nostalgic i get for something so fleeting, so ephemeral as the everchanging leaves that crinkle beneath my feet.
that time of the year again… :o)
Can’t wait for this
beautiful. I only get a week’s worth of it this year, but after India’s winter heat, I cannot WAIT for some peppermint hot cocoa, snow angels, and sledding! :]
