one thing I LOVE about mahabaleshwar is how foggy and ethereal it always looks. it makes me feel like I’m IN a dream, so different from the city life of delhi, bombay, and chennai where other members of my disjointed, fragmented family live. I’m so glad I get to see a different side to India this time around. Hopefully I’ll learn some proper Marathi or Hindi. Hopefully I can slow down for a while in the presence of my grandparents and great-grandmother.
went to the beach last saturday, and I love easton & cliff walk with my family, regardless of the strife and anger and angst and teenagerdom/crazy me it takes to get there and feel that— we’re very proprietary about “our cliff”.
