I love temple elephants. They are the most endearing spiritual animals I’ve ever come into contact with. They seem to KNOW what you’re thinking, and they can bless you by hitting you on the head gently. :)

I love this temple. If I had to pick my ORIGIN, it’d be the city of Madurai. It’s my maternal homeground, my great-grandmother’s home. Our family lands. I always identified more with my mother’s side of the family. Especially this meenakshi temple.
